Declan McCraith is a 3rd generation woodworker, with a formal education in both Product Design and Environmental Design. Declan’s passion is for woodturning, striving to achieve simplicity of form, highlighting the beauty of our native Irish hardwoods.
Creating individual ‘One Off’ pieces, inspired by unique pieces of wood. Each piece of wood determines the unique vessel Declan will make.

Bespoke Handcrafted Pieces
The Process
Declan will seek out windfall timber from across the country. Each individual piece is rough turned when it is wet, then dried, then second turned and finished. The process takes time. Each piece is carefully monitored throughout the process. The end result offers unique, one off pieces, to cherish in your home.
